BRANDING
Just starting out? A brand is more than a name, tagline, logo, and product. A brand is your unique value proposition wrapped up in one simple idea. When your customers think of Volvo, the idea of “safety” comes to mind. They think of Lexus, the idea of “luxury.” What comes to your customer’s mind when he or she thinks of your brand?

Typically, brand definition begins with a short survey of your current brand: how you and your stakeholders (employees, customers, partners) feel about the products or services you offer. Then we’ll work together to determine your value proposition (the single most important thing that sets you apart from your competition). We will build this single message into a fleshed-out brand, and then facilitate the integration of the new brand throughout your company.

Usually, this service is complemented with a development or redevelopment of a corporate identity.

CORPORATE IDENTITY
A brand is only an idea. For your brand to connect to consumers, you have to give your brand an identity. In simpler terms, this is the creation of all your core visual elements: corporate colors, logo design, standard layouts, and secondary imagery.

A corporate identity is something you use on a letterhead, a business card, a television ad, or a billboard. It’s the universal representative look and feel of your brand. It’s the image that comes to customers’ minds when they hear your brand name. And it’s an image that should represent the thing about your business that makes you stand out (that is, your unique value proposition).

Once your brand is well defined, the development of corporate identity is mainly a design process. Like other design processes at Branded Statement, corporate identity design is a two-way exchange of ideas between our creative team and the client team.

Corporate identity almost always involves the creation and selection of a logo and colors. If you don’t have a designer in-house, we can also create business cards, letterheads, and other corporate collateral.

The bad news is that you can’t just muscle your brand to success with huge TV budgets anymore. The market is just too segmented for most companies to see a positive ROI with such an effort. The good news is that you can reach most (if not all) of your audience online.

The next step in establishing your brand is to be online and easy to find. Our web development and online advertising campaigns employ both “push” and “pull” strategies in driving traffic and generating sales. We specialize in simple websites (the type that you can read on a mobile device) that are true to your brand.

Typically, our corporate identity clients also need a solution for being visible online. We either build a home for them online or we’ll improve their existing one. Then we’ll help achieve visibility with a mix of paid and unpaid media, a custom tailored blend of display, social, public relations, search, and/or email. Using tracking software, we help you track the effectiveness of online efforts, turning “visibility” and “traffic” into more tangible words like “revenue” and “leads.”
